Many of us were taught that God is Something outside of ourselves, a Being who is all powerful, all-knowing, and all good. Often times, as we mature and grow, the God of our childhood understanding no longer works for us. Rabbi Amy Grossblatt Pessah will share new ways to understand the Divine by using Rabbi Toba Spitzer’s new book, Godis Here: Reimagining the Divine. Together, we will learn new ways to make sense of the ineffable Holy One, through the exploration of metaphors and hand-on experiences.
